Feedback/Evaluation on our rough cut

Today we decided to show a first unfinished draft of our music video to a group of A1 students; in order to get feedback that we could then develop on. This draft mainly focuses on our lip sync section of our artist Joe, however we intend to cut a lot of this down to show more of the performance between himself and our dancer.

Below is our first draft:

From showing this draft to the A1 students, we as a group realised that we needed to show more shots of the artist and dancer together in the hotel room as they told us these were there most favoured shots. They also told us to show more slow motion shots of our dancer Hannah, as it made it easier for them to connect with the lyrics the artist was lip syncing as they were able to realise who he was singing about.

Below is a video of my group and myself getting feedback:

When gaining feedback we asked our audience open questions and closed questions.

These are the questions we asked:

Open:

Do you feel there needs to be more romance?
Does the red work, if so why?
Does this look like a professional music video or not? If so, why?
Girls do you think Joe is attractive?
Boys do you think Hannah is Attractive?

Closed:
Do you think Hannah works being in it?
Should there be more slow motion shots?
Does the voice fit the character?
Do you like the video?
