FEEDBACK FOR MY THREE IDEAS

After presenting my three music ideas to the class, each member gave me positive feedback on ways I could improve my ideas to make them the best they could possibly be.

Idea 1

My first idea was to the song 'Wonderland' by Alice Chater. As Alice is a new upcoming pop artist she is not well known, however I know her from when we went to the same school. My class mates really liked this song choice, as it is not well known so they felt we could do anything with it. My class mates liked how I had closely looked at the lyrics of the song and tried to link this to my musc video idea. However they felt in order for the video to more interesting it needed another element to it. Lastly my classmates really liked how I had already thought about digi packs and loved the way I had created an album cover and website for the artist I felt would fit the part.

Idea 2:

My second idea was to the song 'As I Grow Younger' by the artist Black Water's; another not well known upcoming band. As I went to school with one of the boys in this band he said I could use one of their songs which again my classmates liked the idea of because it meant the audience would not associate anything with the band as they are not well known. My class mates particularly liked how this idea was very simplistic, and liked the idea of using a hand held camera for some of the shots to give the audience the feel of being in the atmosphere with the artists.

Idea 3:

For this idea I used the song 'Butterflyz' by Alecia Keys. My idea for this video was again very simplistic which my classmates liked as they said it was very affective. They liked how all the settings/locations I had In mind were very natural and liked the 'pure' theme I was going for. However my class mates did point out that they thought it would be very difficult to get butterflies to fly around the artist; which was very important point.

Overall my classmates liked all of my ideas, however their favourite was my second idea as they felt it could be developed even more and could attract a wider audience than the others.
